Our client, an in-house advertising agency with offices in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, is looking to add an experienced Email & Strategy Marketing Manager to its staff starting in July. This contract role will be on-site, so candidates from the New York metropolitan area will be considered. In this position, we seek a detail-oriented and highly organized Email & Strategy Marketing Manager to lead personalized, data-driven campaigns across email, SMS, and web. Must excel in lifecycle marketing, CRM (ideally Attentive), customer segmentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of high-impact lifecycle marketing programs (e.g., new product launches, welcome series, triggered campaigns, and ad hoc initiatives)
  • Oversee the full campaign scope, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, launch, reporting, and iteration
  • Develop and execute targeted segmentation roadmaps, leveraging 1st- and 3rd-party data across multiple touchpoints to deliver personalized customer experiences.
  • Identify innovative solutions that enhance 1:1 marketing engagement and drive business outcomes.
  • Review and approve all email campaigns to ensure content, links, and copy are accurate and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Own CRM platform reporting setup and management, experience ensuring timely KPI tracking and insights sharing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze key trends and performance metrics to continuously optimize engagement strategies

Qualifications:

  • 4–6 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or email/SMS marketing (Trello is a must, NEC, ATTENTIVE)
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end 1:1 marketing campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong background in customer segmentation, personalization, and data-driven marketing (Knack)
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and analytics dashboards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
